Architectural Study

The Corridor

Documented during a research residency in Kyoto. The corridor as architectural form — the negative space between destinations. These are the spaces we forget to design.

Inspired this collection's "Passage" series: three objects designed specifically for transitional spaces. A coat hook, a low shelf, a single candle holder in blackened steel.
